About the role
- Spearhead the creation, deployment, and optimization of web applications and APIs, focusing on security, efficiency, and scalability.
- Foster innovation and collaboration with the Product and Design teams to explore new web development avenues.
- Participate and support the implementation and enhancement of deployment pipelines.
- Participate actively in code reviews and brainstorming sessions to elevate technical strategies.
- Remain abreast of the latest in web technology and frameworks.
- Assist in project scope definition and development effort estimation with the product management team.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years in software engineering
- Expertise in front-end technologies like React or Vue
- Proficient in back-end development using Node, PHP, Ruby, and related languages
- Strong understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database technologies
- Demonstrated experience in web application architecture and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Skilled in testing frameworks, responsive design, and continuous integration/deployment processes
- Excellent organizational and inter-team communication abilities
- A deep understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), data storage & replication, REST
- Knowledge of Linux server environments including web servers (nginx, Apache)
