About the role
- Support GoSpooky's 40% growth ambition and transition from 'firefighting' daily requests to becoming the strategic 'traffic controller' of the agency
- Work closely with the Commercial team to translate the sales pipeline into concrete resource requirements
- Own the operational forecast and the hiring roadmap, predicting bottlenecks or bench time weeks in advance
- Maintain the 'master view' by monitoring the workload across all Units to identify imbalances and flagging over- or under-capacity
- Manage high-level planning conflicts and facilitate the decision-making process
- Build and nurture a curated 'Flexible Layer' of freelancers, being responsible for the strategy behind who we hire, negotiating rates, and ensuring we have a scalable pool of talent ready for growth
- Oversee the onboarding and offboarding of freelance staff (supported by automation) and act as the gatekeeper of the freelance budget
- Advise on complex staffing puzzles and strategic casting decisions
- Own the end-to-end traffic and resourcing process, actively working to simplify, standardize, and automate workflows (planning requests, conflict resolution, timesheet validation) to ensure they are robust and scalable
- Act as the business owner of our resource management tools (Productive, etc.), ensuring the data reflecting our capacity and utilization is accurate and up-to-date, serving as the single source of truth for decision-making
- Define and maintain the working model between Traffic and the decentralized Units, ensuring clear communication and efficient handovers
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in traffic management, resource planning, or project management within a creative agency or production environment
- The ability to look beyond today’s to-do list and see the bigger picture of agency health and capacity trends
- Understanding of the financial impact of their decisions, recognizing that hiring a freelancer affects margin, and treats the company’s money as their own
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to stand your ground and deliver tough messages diplomatically while offering alternative solutions
- A complex puzzle lover, who doesn’t panic when the plan changes (and it always does), pivots, and finds new solutions. Capable of working towards a 100% resolution with only 30% of the info, confidently taking a leading role
- A visible and accessible presence, with a minimum of 3 days a week office attendance to build relationships and sense the team's pulse
Benefits
- Flexible holiday policy for a proper recharge
- Commuting allowance
- Remote working possibilities in agreement with your team
- A MacBook for peak productivity
- Training opportunities to develop your skills and grow with us
- Healthy communal lunches to keep you fueled
