About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Organize, schedule, and oversee the maintenance workflow for the community.
- Work within established budgets and assist with managing vendor relationships and bidding processes.
- Respond to work orders and perform corrective maintenance with professionalism and resident focus.
- Complete daily property walks to keep everything clean, safe, and looking sharp.
- Oversee make-ready apartment turns including painting, basic repairs, and cleaning tasks.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance and property inspections.
- Tackle seasonal prep such as snow removal or fall cleanup.
- Participate in the on-call emergency maintenance rotation as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of maintenance experience required, lead experience is a plus!
- Strong mechanical aptitude and effective communication skills.
- Ability to read and complete work orders and service requests.
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC troubleshooting, and appliance repair.
- Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record.
- HVAC EPA Type ll or Universal certification preferred.
