About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maximize sales, distribution, and in-store execution of Gorilla Mind products within the region, primarily across Convenience, Grocery, and Independent channels.
- Conduct regular account visits to build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and distributors, while identifying new opportunities for distribution and display placement.
- Improve in-store merchandising by building displays, resetting coolers, and placing point-of-sale materials to enhance brand visibility.
- Achieve rolling 30-day sales targets set by the Sales Director, measured against defined KPIs.
- Drive in-store sales velocity through strategic execution and brand awareness initiatives.
- Partner with regional distributors to increase volume, distribution, and display execution.
- Provide weekly sales recaps highlighting progress against KPIs, including new placements and merchandising efforts.
- Execute brand activations such as tastings, samplings, and grassroots events; report on performance and outcomes.
- Participate in monthly meetings with retailer field managers to support in-store execution of promotions and displays.
- Attend distributor meetings to review performance, align on objectives, and drive upcoming sales initiatives.
- Track execution and performance across all accounts in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local buyers to support incremental programming and placement opportunities.
- Travel regularly within the assigned market to support retailers and distributors; occasional travel required for meetings and trainings.
- Train distributor sales teams and retail partners on Gorilla Mind products and brand positioning.
- Support forecasting and inventory planning in coordination with Supply Chain to align with promotions and market activity.
- Occasionally work weekends and holidays based on business needs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4–7 years of CPG experience, preferably in beverage sales.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing priorities effectively.
- Excellent planning, organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for the beverage industry and/or health, fitness, and nutritional supplements.
