About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Communicate professionally, productively, and efficiently with clients, contacts, attorneys, other paralegals, and professional staff
  • Assist attorneys with drafting pleadings, factual and legal research, document review and analysis, and preparation for hearings, depositions, and mediations
  • Review, gather, and organize client documents from production through discovery
  • Research, organize, and summarize records to support data gathering
  • Organize information and documents in databases
  • Assist with preparing discovery requests and responses
  • Assist with trial preparation, including drafting pre-trial pleadings and preparing exhibits
  • Coordinate witnesses and requests with outside vendors
  • Provide live trial support
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience working as a litigation-focused paralegal
  • Experience in litigation support and case management
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and manage multiple cases
  • Flexibility, proactivity, resourcefulness, efficiency, and a high level of professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Experience drafting and organizing written discovery and document production
  • Experience preparing for and assisting at trial
  • Familiarity with State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Experience with Summation Pro, Relativity, or comparable litigation support software
  • Excellent analytical and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and technical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
