About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Communicate professionally, productively, and efficiently with clients, contacts, attorneys, other paralegals, and all other professional staff
Assist attorneys in drafting pleadings, performing factual and legal research, reviewing, and analyzing documents, and supporting preparations for hearings, depositions, and mediations
Review, gather, and organize client documents from production to discovery
Research, organize, and summarize records as needed to assist in data gathering, including organizing information and documents in databases
Assist with preparing discovery requests and responses
Assist in trial preparation, including drafting pre-trial pleadings, preparing exhibits, coordinating witnesses and requests with outside vendors, and live trial support
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience working as a litigation-focused paralegal
Experience in litigation support and case management
Ability to adapt to changes in work environment and manage multiple cases
High level of professionalism
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Experience drafting and organizing discovery - both written discovery and document production
Experience preparing for and assisting at trial
Familiarity with the State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedures
Experience with Summation Pro, Relativity, or comparable litigation support software
Excellent analytical and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail, organizational and technical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
