About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Draft correspondence, pleadings, opinion letters, and other documents
- Review and analyze documents for relevance and privilege
- Prepare for, attend, and summarize depositions
- Coordinate with witnesses and communicate with clients, courts, and other counsel
- Draft and argue motions
- Maintain current knowledge of Local Rules, Rules of Civil Procedure, FRCP, and other applicable codes and regulations
- Coordinate and communicate with parties outside the Firm
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3+ years of commercial litigation experience
- Excellent litigation, communication, writing, and persuasive speaking skills
- Strong academic backgrounds
- Proven skills in research
- Self-starters capable of handling assignments with minimal supervision
- Licensed and admitted to practice in Tennessee
