About the role
- Engage in complex litigation in both state and federal court
- Manage own litigation
- Formulate and implement discovery plans
- Take and defend depositions
- Evaluate potential insurance liability exposures
- Prepare case assessments and evaluations
- Balance time between several matters while producing good work product
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in litigating insurance coverage and extra contractual cases
- Experience with California first and third-party property and casualty insurance coverage
- Professional liability, UIM/UM coverage, life, health and disability matters
- Bad faith litigation experience
- Licensed to practice in California
- Strong academic credentials
- Proven writing and research skills
