About the role
- Communicate professionally with clients, contacts, attorneys, and other paralegals
- Assist attorneys in drafting pleadings and conducting legal research
- Review, gather, and organize client documents from production to discovery
- Assist with preparing discovery requests and responses
- Assist in trial preparation and provide live trial support
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a litigation-focused paralegal
- Undergraduate degree and/or an ABA-approved paralegal certificate required
- Experience in litigation support and case management
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Experience drafting and organizing discovery – both written discovery and document production
- Familiarity with the Tennessee or Florida State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
- Experience with Summation Pro, Relativity or comparable litigation support software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
