Outside Sales Representative

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Cultivate relationships and develop new business
- Provide innovative solutions to help customers achieve their goals
- Research industry and market trends impacting restaurants
- Identify and research prospective customers
- Develop sales strategies and present them to prospective customers
- Visit all customers in the assigned territory on a regular basis
- Conduct business reviews to determine customer needs and areas for growth
- Provide ongoing training to customers on product offerings
- Balance new customer acquisition with strengthening existing relationships
- Coordinate visits to prospective and existing customers
- Communicate order status and processing updates to customers
- Engage in various training offerings during the first 90 days
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma/GED is required
- Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred
- 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience
- Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record
- Ability to obtain your food safety certification
