Outside Food Sales Representative

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Cultivate relationships and develop new business with customers
- Provide innovative solutions to help customers achieve their goals
- Pursue new customers and deepen relationships with existing customers
- Visit all customers within the assigned territory regularly
- Conduct business reviews to determine existing customers' needs
- Provide ongoing training to customers on product offerings
- Balance new customer acquisition with relationship management
- Coordinate visits and communicate order status to customers
- Engage in various training offerings for success during the first 90 days
Requirements
What you’ll need- A high school diploma/GED is required
- Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred
- 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience
- Maintaining a valid, unrestricted state driver's license and a safe driving record
- If applicable, must participate in company vehicle reimbursement program and maintain required insurance levels
- Ability to obtain your food safety certification
