💰 $60,000 - $75,000 per year
About the role
- Work directly under a GL Senior Accountant assisting them in daily, weekly and monthly tasks
- Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual close processes
- Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
- Prepare account reconciliations, flux explanations and adhoc analysis
- Actively manage and account for all cash activities, including ecommerce transactions, funds transfers clearing accounts and Oracle banking rules
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of prepaid transactions and accrual accounting
- Assist in fixed asset and lease tasks, as necessary
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting needs
- Support external audit efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
- 1-3 years’ experience in an accounting role (public experience preferred)
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial analysis
- High proficiency in Excel (formulas, vlookups and pivot tables)
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, remote team environment.
