About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and enhance scalable front-end and back-end features using modern JavaScript frameworks and best practices
Build, maintain, and evolve RESTful APIs and supporting application services
Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code
Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests
Participate in peer code reviews and technical design discussions
Create and maintain technical documentation for systems, services, and APIs
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver business-aligned solutions
Provide informal mentorship and knowledge sharing to junior developers
Monitor application health through log analysis and observability tools
Diagnose incidents, resolve service disruptions, and implement preventative improvements
Optimize PostgreSQL queries and contribute to performance tuning
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
Leverage AI-assisted development tools for implementation, refactoring, test generation, debugging, and documentation
Evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, security, maintainability, and engineering alignment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant development experience required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Strong proficiency in Node.js
Strong proficiency in React.js
Deep understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, schema design, and optimized queries
Practical experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha
Understanding of RESTful API design and integration best practices
Proficiency in Git-based version control, including branching and merging
Working knowledge of containerization technologies, preferably Docker
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and foundational cloud infrastructure
Ability to analyze application logs, trace system-level issues, and support production troubleshooting
Foundational understanding of performance monitoring and optimization
Experience leveraging AI-assisted tools for software development
Ability to evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated code and documentation
Understanding of responsible AI usage in production, including security, quality, and governance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and deadline management
Independent and self-motivated
Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Proficiency in Google Workspace or similar business tools
Ability to learn new or updated software
