Lead the NRE and Metro Engineering functions, managing teams of engineers across metro build outs and Tier-2 network incident response which includes both root cause analysis and proactive reliability improvements.
Own GFiber’s end-to-end network reliability strategy—including incident lifecycle, postmortem processes, KPIs, tooling, and continuous improvement.
Define and evolve standards for observability, redundancy, fault detection, and auto-remediation across all layers (Access, Core, Edge, Software).
Lead design and execution of failure simulations, chaos testing, and risk mitigation playbooks.
Influence vendor architectures and partner with industry forums to evolve reliability best practices in broadband networks.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 5 focused on operations, site reliability, or network reliability roles.
Experience managing or mentoring engineering teams and driving cross-functional outcomes.
Experience in incident management, telemetry design, and high-availability systems in service provider environments.
Experience with IP networking (BGP, OSPF, MPLS), optical transport, and access networks (PON, wireless).
