About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver technical training (in-person, virtual, and hands-on) across automotive systems and emerging technologies
Coach technicians in-store, conduct skill gap analyses, and improve diagnostics, productivity, and repair quality
Develop and facilitate training programs, including ASE and internal certification preparation
Track training records, certifications, and effectiveness using LMS while ensuring compliance with standards
Partner with internal teams to design curriculum, training materials, and technical content
Support new product, tool, and technology launches through structured training and field enablement

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate’s degree in automotive technology or related field required; equivalent experience (minimum 8 years) considered in lieu of a degree
Master ASE Automotive Technician certification (including L1) and additional ASE certifications preferred
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on diagnostic and repair experience
Advanced mechanical and diagnostic expertise across major vehicle systems
Strong knowledge of diagnostic strategies, tools, and service systems
Strong communication, coaching, and analytical skills
Must reside within the assigned territory and be able to travel 75–80% including overnight stays
