About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute tailored business plans to drive sales growth, increase Share-of-Account (SOA), and achieve scorecard targets—prioritizing 18"+ products and new Goodyear/Cooper launches.
- Analyze sales data and market insights to identify opportunities and build high-impact strategies using cross-functional resources and tools.
- Deliver product knowledge, training, and marketing support to store teams, enabling stronger in-store selling and execution.
- Partner with Customer Development and Retail Marketing teams to maximize promotions, programs, and overall business performance.
- Monitor competitor pricing, positioning, and product trends to inform strategy and strengthen Goodyear/Cooper’s competitive advantage.
- Manage territory reporting and expenses while mentoring and supporting the onboarding of new Sales Specialists.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in tire industry field sales, customer development, or operational support.
- Proven ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and consistently achieve sales targets.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of turning data into actionable business plans.
- In-depth knowledge of the tire industry, including Goodyear and Cooper product lines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a persuasive, customer-focused sales approach.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, deliver results, and build strong relationships while serving as a trusted subject matter expert.
