About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage, develop, and maintain relationships with fleet-focused organizations within an assigned territory
- Support Goodyear National Account Retail efforts via communication and sales calls
- Responsible for the customer interface at the territory level and fostering consultative relationships with target accounts
- Responsible for the day-to-day relationship with various business stakeholders
- Ensure effective two-way communications and profitable growth of products aligned with business strategy
- Deliver account objectives for sales revenue and profitability through existing programs
- Prospect for new opportunities with local and national fleets
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 or more years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience
- Experience managing strategic customer relationships
- Experience prospecting for growth opportunities by developing and executing innovative sales strategies
- 5 or more years in Business Development experience
- Previous B2B sales experience to the executive level
- Highly self-motivated to relentlessly pursue new business
- Resilient and able to rebound from setbacks
- Proactive in reaching out to new customers and ability to establish relationships quickly
- Strategic thinker and creative problem-solver with strong negotiations skills
- Strong communicator with deep knowledge of business and industry drivers
- Able to travel inside a local territory - Must have reliable and presentable transportation
