Tire Performance Evaluation Engineer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and set up tire performance tests including test vehicle and instruments
- Perform tire subjective or objective vehicle test on road
- Issue reports and communicate test results to internal and external customers
- Maintain testing quality control and develop procedures for tests
- Develop contacts with test facilities and stay informed on testing equipment and regulations
- Perform miscellaneous activities to support PPI organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Science or Design
- Experience in Road Tire Testing preferred
- Above average driving abilities
- Theoretical knowledge and understanding on Vehicle Dynamics
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours including workdays and weekends
- Adaptability to any testing environment and weather conditions
- Basic computer skills and office software applications
- Good communication and positive attitude
- Good team player awareness
