Key responsibilities & impact

Lead pricing strategy across practice and industry groups
Design, negotiate, and manage alternative fee arrangements
Develop pricing frameworks and scoping models
Build and maintain a suite of pricing templates
Serve as a trusted advisor on pricing matters
Work with the Finance team to monitor profitability
Define Goodwin's approach to pricing legal work with AI
Own pricing benchmarking and maintain a pricing database
Collaborate with Pricing Directors and the Client Value team

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years experience in a senior pricing, commercial finance, or legal operations role
Deep, practical knowledge of alternative fee arrangements
Demonstrated ability to work directly with senior stakeholders
Experience building pricing models, financial analyses, and commercial proposals
Strong Excel / financial modelling skills
Exposure to legal technology, AI-enabled workflows, or pricing tools
Experience pricing technology-enabled legal services
