About the role
- Lead pricing strategy across practice and industry groups
- Design, negotiate, and manage alternative fee arrangements
- Develop pricing frameworks and scoping models
- Build and maintain a suite of pricing templates
- Serve as a trusted advisor on pricing matters
- Work with the Finance team to monitor profitability
- Define Goodwin's approach to pricing legal work with AI
- Own pricing benchmarking and maintain a pricing database
- Collaborate with Pricing Directors and the Client Value team
Requirements
- 10+ years experience in a senior pricing, commercial finance, or legal operations role
- Deep, practical knowledge of alternative fee arrangements
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with senior stakeholders
- Experience building pricing models, financial analyses, and commercial proposals
- Strong Excel / financial modelling skills
- Exposure to legal technology, AI-enabled workflows, or pricing tools
- Experience pricing technology-enabled legal services
