About the role
- Contribute to the design, development and facilitation of current programs and curriculum offerings
- Contribute to researching and planning new programs, and assessing the impact of ongoing programs
- Assist in the planning and organization of core attorney and professional staff trainings (both in-person and virtual), serving as a project lead in the development and implementation of project plans
- Advise the L&PD Team in order to identify learning needs and align training with firm-wide business goals
- Manage logistical matters for programs/events, such as budget management, contract management, calendar management, creation and distribution of invitations, securing room reservations, catering management, and preparation of program materials
- Assist with the administration of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) course accreditation and compliance, including managing the firm’s video library, form creation and circulation, and attendance tracking
- Support the implementation of development frameworks, competencies, and career pathways for attorneys and professional staff
- Serve as a resource and advisor on learning opportunities and career development
- Build trusted relationships with Goodwin stakeholders by understanding the business and its needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or other undergraduate degree required
- Minimum of 3-4 years of prior law firm, corporate, or professional services experience required
- Experience with learning management systems, eLearning authoring tools, and virtual learning technologies a plus
- Excellent computer and technical skills including familiarity with common applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as the ability to adapt to new software
- Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills; excellent attention to detail
- Superior interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, and the ability to interface professionally, courteously, and confidently with internal and external clients
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform program improvements
- Sound judgment and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic, initiative, proactive mindset, and sense of ownership and commitment
- High emotional intelligence and discretion in a fast-paced, confidential environment
