About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides on-site job coaching for supported participants
- Guides and motivates individuals to successfully perform their job
- Assists employer in identifying, modifying, or eliminating barriers to employment
- Promotes integration and natural support at places of employment
- Maintains timely and complete service documentation
- Assists Case Manager in identifying and coordinating transportation for person served
- Assists in providing specific disability and related education to employers
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some higher education preferred
- 1 year of work experience preferred
- Ability to handle challenging behavior
- Knowledge and experience supporting people with disabilities
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
- Proof of insurance
