About the role

  • Manage a hybrid team spanning software and data work.
  • Prioritize and align engineering projects and data requests across teams.

Requirements

  • Has managed teams combining software engineers and data specialists (e.g., analytics, BI, or data platform).
  • Is comfortable in both infrastructure and data domains — IaC, pipelines, observability, SQL, and data quality.
  • Brings clarity and structure, turning ambiguous work into measurable outcomes.
  • Focuses on operational leverage — scaling impact through tooling and automation.
  • Uses metrics to drive performance and reliability, not just reporting.
  • Communicates effectively across engineering, product, and customer teams.
