About the role

  • Lead the technical transformation of an international-scale video platform
  • Serve as the technical lead for a 6-person squad (no direct line management)
  • Support the migration from a monolithic architecture to FastAPI-based microservices
  • Design and develop new services in Python (95% of the time)
  • Optimize the performance and scalability of video services running 24/7
  • Contribute to technical documentation in English

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Python back-end development
  • Strong command of FastAPI
  • Experience in migrations to microservices architectures
  • Comfortable communicating in English, both written and spoken
  • Able to work in an agile, collaborative environment
