Administration and operational maintenance of the Citrix environment for approximately 8,000 users
Management and administration of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) resources in France for approximately 2,500 users
Level 2 and 3 support for group users on Virtual Desktop environments
Participation in an on-call rotation for handling critical incidents outside business hours
Contribution to the design and evolution of information systems and operational support mechanisms
Performance optimization and centralized management of system images
Monitoring of environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Diagnostics
Close collaboration with central and local IT teams to improve service quality and automation
Writing and maintaining technical documentation related to VDI environments
Ongoing contribution to Virtual Desktop service improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience in desktop virtualization engineering
Demonstrated expertise in: Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, Intune, Citrix
Experience with Windows Client / Windows Server / Active Directory environments
Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
Solid knowledge of cloud environments (Azure / Microsoft 365, AWS), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and network virtualization
The following certifications are highly appreciated: AZ-140, VMware VCP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Ability to work effectively in a team on complex and multiple topics
Autonomy in managing assignments while able to operate within international and cross-functional teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality in deliverables, even under tight deadlines
Proactive, adaptable and initiative-taking
Analytical mindset, critical thinking and strong motivation
Fluent French and English required; any additional language is an asset (e.g., Italian).
