About the role
- Design and implement a company-wide compensation program, including salary structures, incentive plans, and job leveling frameworks. Develop competitive base and variable pay strategies to attract and retain top talent. Conduct job evaluations and salary benchmarking to ensure pay equity and market competitiveness. Collaborate with leadership and HR partners to align compensation strategy with business objectives.
- Research and analyze salary survey data to determine market pay trends. Provide recommendations for pay adjustments based on internal equity and external market competitiveness. Partner with third-party vendors and industry associations to stay updated on compensation trends and best practices.
- Ensure the compensation program complies with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., FLSA, pay transparency laws). Maintain pay equity and internal consistency in line with organizational and legal standards. Prepare reports and documentation to support audits and compliance reviews.
- Educate HR partners, managers, and employees on compensation philosophy, pay practices, and program changes. Develop tools and resources to help managers make informed pay decisions.
- Draft and approve job descriptions, analyze compensation data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Create dashboards and reports to monitor the effectiveness of compensation programs. Provide insights and recommendations to HR leadership and executive teams.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in compensation analysis, HR analytics or related role.
- Strong knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation, compensation plan design, and market pricing methodologies.
- Experience with HRIS systems, compensation survey tools, and data visualization platforms.
- Advance proficiency in Excel (pivot table, VLOOKUP’s, data modeling) and familiarity with data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of pay transparency laws, FSLA, and other regulations.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and stake holder engagement skills.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights for business leaders.
- Strict attention to detail.
- Good presentation and facilitation skills.
- Experience in Finance/FinTech industry preferred.
- CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification is a plus.
