About the role
- Lead and grow a team of **6 to 7 engineers**, supporting their development, wellbeing, and sense of ownership.
- Shape technical direction and architecture, ensuring high standards through automated testing, code reviews, static analysis, and AI assisted development practices.
- Collaborate across disciplines to deliver learning experiences that truly make a difference for our customers.
- Continuously improve how we work, refining our Agile practices and evolving our use of tools like **AI, Jira, Confluence, and GitLab CI/CD**.
Requirements
- At least **2 years of experience** leading an engineering team, with a strong focus on coaching, feedback, and team development.
- **5 to 7 or more years of professional software engineering experience**, including time spent as a Senior Engineer, Tech Lead, or Architect.
- Solid experience designing, building, and operating software across **both frontend and backend systems**.
- The ability to make thoughtful technical trade offs that balance product goals, scalability, and long term maintainability.
- Experience working closely with Product and Design partners in a cross functional environment.
- Familiarity with modern development practices such as automated testing, CI and CD, code reviews, and architectural design.
- Comfort working with cloud based systems and modern tooling. Experience with **.NET and C#, Vue.js, TypeScript, Docker, and AWS** is a plus, but not required.
