About the role
- Shape architecture and system design to ensure our platform is scalable, reliable, and easy to maintain.
- Run proof-of-concepts (PoC) for new tools and technologies, building clear technical cases for adoption.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response, while expanding automation and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps, Data Engineering, and Product teams to make sure everything is running smoothly and aligned with the company goals.
Requirements
- Strong Linux expertise
- Familiarity with cloud (ideally, AWS and/or Azure).
- Experience with technologies like Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Puppet
- Good knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Vertica, MariaDB)
- Scripting or programming experience in Perl, Python, C, Erlang, or Java.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Czech language not needed)
