About the role

  • Take full accountability for revenue with new and existing corporate clients across our services lines Carbon Advisory, Portfolio Services and Offtakes Sales for our goodcarbon Originals.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
  • Utilize a consultative selling approach to understand client needs deeply and provide tailored solutions.
  • Actively manage and grow partnership sales channels.
  • Focus on generating a robust pipeline for outbound sales efforts, ensuring a steady flow of potential deals.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to strategize and implement effective inbound marketing strategies, optimizing the lead generation and conversion processes.
  • Recruit, lead, mentor, and expand the sales team, setting ambitious goals and driving the team towards achieving them.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate national goals.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive market intelligence, staying ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes.
  • Use insights to inform strategic decisions and product development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven success in B2B Enterprise sales
  • Proven experience and an established network in sustainability and/or the carbon market are required
  • Demonstrable experience in developing sales strategies, coaching teams, and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to convey complex ideas clearly and influence at the executive level.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Fluency in German and English is essential.
