About the role

  • driving capability development, sales process adoption, and performance improvement across the good2grow Sales organization
  • enabling and training Market Development Managers (MDMs) and Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) through both classroom facilitation and field-based learning
  • partnering closely with Regional Growth Trainers (RGTs) to reinforce good2grow's GROWING sales execution model and performance framework
  • design and facilitate sales training programs (classroom and virtual) focused on GROWING execution, customer engagement, and sales leadership
  • partner with RGTs and RSMs to deliver hands-on training in-market
  • assess performance gaps and develop individualized coaching plans
  • lead onboarding programs for new sales hires
  • support the design and delivery of national and regional sales meetings, including content creation, facilitation, and follow-up initiatives
  • work with Marketing, Business Analytics & Insights, and HR to develop scalable training tools and best practices that drive alignment across teams

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in sales or field training roles within the CPG industry
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills with ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated understanding of CPG sales processes and retail execution, DSD GTM strategies + frameworks
  • Proven background in Sales team + DSD network management
  • Proven success leading sales capability programs or executing in-market training
  • Prior experience as a Sales Trainer, Regional Sales Manager, or Sales Excellence lead (Preferred)
  • Experience implementing structured sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger, SPIN, or similar) (Preferred)
  • Background in using CRM or data analytics to inform training focus (Preferred)
  • Experience supporting teams in both DSD and broker-managed environments (Preferred)
