About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Facilitate the divisions training objectives and training compliance by maintaining records of and schedules for employee training.
Organize and coordinate training sessions; reserve space for training, ensure that audiovisual equipment is available and operating, distribute materials such as handouts and quizzes, and handle other similar details and tasks.
Maintain records of attendance and successful completion of training.
Develop or assist with development of and maintain a division-specific training calendar; track required initial and refresher training schedules.
Research and examine training products, review samples, demonstrations, and website content, and suggest additions or enhancements of the divisions training library.
Partner with supervisors within the division to support their teams training access, coordination needs, and compliance reporting needs.
Customize and deliver training-related communication based on the divisions communication plan.
Assist with their assigned duties and provide support to training participants in virtual instructor-led and classroom training as directed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associates degree required.
At least two years of experience in a related field highly desired.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Effective organization skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
Ability to use public transportation for travel to program locations throughout New York City.
