About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure all sites comply with health & safety regulations.
- Service EV charging points, Solar panels, and perform remedial electrical work as needed.
- Coordinate with the office team regarding materials and logistics for efficient project execution.
- Inspect, test, fault find and write up reports following site visits.
- Communicate effectively with customers, addressing questions and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while driving continual improvement in standards.
- Travel to various UK sites, as most of your time will be spent on-site.
- Identify and explain remedial or upgrade requirements to customers, discuss suitable options professionally, and liaise with the sales team for recommendations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 18th Edition qualified.
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation ECS Card with additional safety qualifications for working at heights, confined spaces, etc.
- Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong IT skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Good problem solving and installation skills.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Experience in the solar PV industry is ideal but not essential – full training will be provided on solar and EV charging installations.
