About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure all sites comply with health & safety regulations.
Service EV charging points, Solar panels, and perform remedial electrical work as needed.
Coordinate with the office team regarding materials and logistics for efficient project execution.
Inspect, test, fault find and write up reports following site visits.
Communicate effectively with customers, addressing questions and concerns.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects.
Adhere to company policies and procedures while driving continual improvement in standards.
Travel to various UK sites, as most of your time will be spent on-site.
Identify and explain remedial or upgrade requirements to customers, discuss suitable options professionally, and liaise with the sales team for recommendations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

18th Edition qualified.
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation ECS Card with additional safety qualifications for working at heights, confined spaces, etc.
Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong IT skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Good problem solving and installation skills.
Effective time management and organisational skills.
High attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
Experience in the solar PV industry is ideal but not essential – full training will be provided on solar and EV charging installations.
