Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct in-home visits to assess suitability for solar, understanding homeowner needs, and provide tailored proposals
Turn inbound enquiries into successful installations with expert advice and a consultative approach
Build your own pipeline through referrals, community events, and local networking
Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
Address questions and concerns around solar technology, finance options, and installation
Build trust with homeowners through honest advice, empathy, and excellent follow-up
Work closely with operations and technical teams to ensure a seamless customer journey
Stay up to date on domestic solar and battery technology to provide informed recommendations
Represent Good Energy at events, home shows, and sustainability initiatives in your area

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven track record in face-to-face sales, ideally within the home energy or renewables sector
Able to understand individual needs and design bespoke solar solutions
Skilled at securing sales during or after in-home consultations
Warm, clear, and persuasive in person and over the phone
Eager to learn and explain solar technology in simple terms
Confident managing your pipeline and following up with leads
Self-motivated but thrives in a supportive team
Full UK driving licence and happy to travel when required
