About the role

  • Conduct in-home visits to assess suitability for solar, understanding homeowner needs, and provide tailored proposals
  • Turn inbound enquiries into successful installations with expert advice and a consultative approach
  • Build your own pipeline through referrals, community events, and local networking
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
  • Address questions and concerns around solar technology, finance options, and installation
  • Build trust with homeowners through honest advice, empathy, and excellent follow-up
  • Work closely with operations and technical teams to ensure a seamless customer journey
  • Stay up to date on domestic solar and battery technology to provide informed recommendations
  • Represent Good Energy at events, home shows, and sustainability initiatives in your area

Requirements

  • Proven track record in face-to-face sales, ideally within the home energy or renewables sector
  • Able to understand individual needs and design bespoke solar solutions
  • Skilled at securing sales during or after in-home consultations
  • Warm, clear, and persuasive in person and over the phone
  • Eager to learn and explain solar technology in simple terms
  • Confident managing your pipeline and following up with leads
  • Self-motivated but thrives in a supportive team
  • Full UK driving licence and happy to travel when required
