About the role
- Payments Operations: Oversee daily payment flows across multiple PSPs, acquirers, and payment methods (cards, wallets, bank transfers, crypto where applicable). Act as the point of contact with payment providers, customer support, and finance teams to resolve operational issues.
- Refund and Chargeback Management: Process refunds in line with company policy. Handle chargebacks end-to-end, including fraud investigation, dispute resolution, and representment. Maintain chargeback ratios within Visa and Mastercard compliance thresholds.
- Transaction Monitoring & Risk: Review payment transactions to identify suspicious activity, minimize fraud risk, and escalate anomalies. Support compliance requirements across regions.
- Analytics and Reporting: Build dashboards and reports on approvals, declines, refunds, chargebacks, and fraud rates. Provide data-driven insights to improve payment conversion and reduce losses.
- Process Improvement: Propose workflow automation and system enhancements. Update refund and dispute-handling procedures to align with industry standards and compliance regulations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or financial operations.
- Knowledge of transaction monitoring, chargeback processes, and fraud prevention.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data reporting and payments KPIs.
- Familiarity with PSPs, card networks, acquirers, and payment gateways.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international fintech environment.
