About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions with early learners and young adults with Autism in home or community settings
  • Implement behavioral intervention and individualized treatment plans for children ages 2–21
  • Participate in BCBA trainings, team meetings, client observations, and parent training as needed
  • Communicate with the BCBA and other RBT team members regarding treatment delivery
  • Receive BCBA supervision for at least 10% of services provided
  • Maintain professional boundaries with child patients and their families according to BACB guidance
  • Enter daily data and all trials used for each patient and targeted program
  • Remain available for required supervision sessions, phone conferences, and team meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6 months of ABA therapist experience or 1 year working with children with disabilities/autism preferred but not required
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication
  • Willingness to undergo a background check
  • Reliable car and driver's license for commuting to clients' homes
  • High School Degree required
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Ability to bend and squat for up to an hour per day
  • Ability to perform fine and gross motor activities
  • Ability to bend, kneel, squat, sit at floor level or in a chair, and stand for periods of time
  • Familiarity with BACB professional-boundary requirements
