Human Resources Business Partner

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary HR partner for employee relations matters
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and policy violations
- Coach managers on performance management, corrective action, and employee engagement
- Draft disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and employee communications
- Manage end-to-end administration of FMLA, ADA, and state-specific leaves
- Oversee eligibility, documentation, approvals, tracking, and return-to-work processes
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state leave laws
- Partner with leadership to address trends, risks, and workforce needs
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and organizational changes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of HR experience
- Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and multi-state employment laws
- Proven ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-state organization
- Preferred SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
- Experience in healthcare, ABA, or multi-site organizations
