About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare, organize, and maintain camera packages for productions.
Assist with camera setup, breakdown, and equipment transportation.
Manage media cards, batteries, monitors, and camera accessories during shoots.
Support camera department workflows on set, including lens changes, camera moves, and equipment troubleshooting.
Maintain camera inventory and track equipment condition, repairs, and replacements.
Assist with camera prep, testing, and quality control prior to shoot days.
Ensure proper storage, organization, and cleanliness of camera gear and related equipment.
Coordinate equipment pickups, returns, and vendor interactions as needed.
Support production teams with technical and operational needs during shoots.
Stay informed on emerging camera technologies, equipment, and production techniques.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Working knowledge of professional cinema cameras, lenses, and camera support systems.
Understanding of camera department workflows and on-set protocols.
Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and equipment management skills.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues calmly and efficiently.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Dependable, proactive, and able to anticipate production needs.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and in fast-paced production environments.
Comfortable handling sensitive and high-value production equipment.
Ability to lift and transport camera equipment safely.
Passion for cinematography, visual storytelling, and production technology.
Eagerness to learn and continuously develop technical expertise.
