About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead all aspects of the monthly close process, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Review Income Statement activity and prepare supporting analyses and reconciliations
Assist in preparing monthly GAAP financial statements and internal management reporting packages
Support annual financial statement audits
Reconcile ERP inventory subledgers daily to corresponding warehouse/3PL inventory records
Monitor ERP exception reports and collaborate with the Controller and IT to resolve discrepancies
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting visibility
Build strong internal and external partnerships
Contribute to a team culture focused on improving reporting timelines and transparency
Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
4–6 years of relevant experience, including public accounting
Strong understanding of procurement, revenue cycles, and ERP data flow into the general ledger and financial statements
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, etc.)
Ability to analyze trends and prepare accurate accruals in accordance with GAAP
Experience creating clear, insightful reports and presentations for leadership
Cost accounting and standard costing experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively with global business partners and cross-functional teams
