About the role

  • Assist with the day-to-day operations in our office
  • Use Adobe Illustrator
  • Learn company standards for fashion and technical illustrations
  • Create illustrations for our digital libraries, line sheets, planograms, and/or tech packs.
  • Evaluate Lab Dips and enter approvals/comments into our Color Trackers and PLM system.
  • Keep Fabric, Trim and Sample libraries organized and understand difference between certain textiles and trims, as well as product categories.
  • Research market trends and help create our internal trend presentations for our Product Managers, Sales Team & Retailers.
  • Clip and lightly edit images in Adobe Photoshop, as well as how to set up trend boards using Adobe Illustrator

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a college/university degree in a Design-related field or a recent graduate of a Design-related field program
  • Familiar with Windows and/or MAC as well as Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator & Photoshop
  • General knowledge of garment construction, silhouettes, color ways, and fabrication.
  • Attention to detail and excellent time management and organizational skills with a sense of urgency for deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including interpersonal skills
  • Ability to recognize and react to changing work demands
  • Ability to be flexible and show initiative in a change-oriented company
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Completion of relevant coursework and participation in volunteer activities will be considered strong assets.
