About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gain broad exposure to metallurgical and processing activities across Gold Fields’ Australian gold operations
- Learn about key areas of gold processing, including crushing, grinding, leaching, gold recovery and tailings
- Develop practical experience in plant inspections, sampling, testwork, data review, production reporting and performance monitoring
- Work alongside metallurgists, operators, maintenance teams, laboratory personnel and other site-based professionals.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Commencing your second year or above of your tertiary qualification in Extractive Metallurgy and/or Chemical Engineering
- Hold a C Class Manual Driver’s License
- Able to obtain National Police Clearance
- Exposure and/or experience in a mineral processing environment would be highly regarded
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts in remote locations on an 8&6 fly in, fly out roster.
