About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Gain hands-on exposure to electrical maintenance and asset management activities supporting the reliability of fixed plant, power distribution, and mobile equipment infrastructure
Support electrical compliance including inspections, testing, and documentation in accordance with relevant Australian standards
Participate in engineering projects involving the design, installation, or modification of electrical systems from scoping and specification through to commissioning and handover
Observe and contribute to electrical safety management practices, including hazard identification, isolation procedures, and safe work method development
Work alongside experienced engineers, supervisors, and tradespeople building professional networks and understand how multidisciplinary teams deliver safe and efficient outcomes on site

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current driver’s licence (ideally manual license or with desire to obtain it in the future)
In progress of completing your Tertiary Qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar (second year or above)
Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
Comfortable working 12-hour shifts in remote locations on a fly in, fly out roster
