About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the disciplined execution of the company's investment cycle — from preparation of the business case to final reporting — ensuring analytical quality, data traceability and continuous support to the CAPEX Control Coordinator in portfolio management.
  • Investments are one of the main mechanisms for converting strategy into the company's operational capacity and assets. Although CAPEX concentrates the largest volume of resources, the Specialist follows the investment portfolio as a whole, ensuring the process is rigorous, structured and based on reliable data.
  • Support requesting areas in preparing business cases for new investments, including ROI, payback and sensitivity analysis.
  • Organize and consolidate information for each project: scope, schedule, budget and responsible parties.
  • Validate assumptions and input data with the relevant areas, ensuring the quality and reliability of information.
  • Ensure methodological consistency and adherence to the corporate template, regardless of the nature of the investment (CAPEX or other fronts).
  • Monitor the budget execution of investments against the approved plan, with a view of physical and financial progress.
  • Perform variance analyses between actual and planned results, identifying root causes and communicating them to the Coordinator.
  • Keep monitoring dashboards updated with views by project, area and investment category.
  • Ensure full traceability between the project, approved budget and financial outcome.
  • Develop and maintain analytical dashboards for the investment portfolio with consolidated and project-level views.
  • Produce periodic execution reports (planned vs. actual) with gap analysis.
  • Prepare supporting materials for investment committees and recurring performance forums.
  • Ensure integrity and consistency of the data used in models and dashboards.
  • Act as a focal point for postings and allocations in SAP (modules PS and AA), ensuring data integrity.
  • Support internal and external audits related to investments and assets.
  • Continuously interact with technical and operational areas to collect information, align data and follow up on projects.
  • Act as the operational point of contact for questions about methodology, templates and investment processes.
  • Consolidated investment portfolio dashboard with emphasis on CAPEX, updated monthly.
  • Structured and reviewed business cases ready for submission to investment committees.
  • Execution reports (planned vs. actual) with gap analysis and commentary.
  • Project performance monitoring dashboards.
  • Structured and documented databases to support models and decision-making.
