About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and implement corporate strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions;
  • Lead the institutional sustainability agenda with government bodies, regulatory agencies and industry associations;
  • Drive the implementation agenda for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in Brazil, including public policy, regulatory frameworks and incentive mechanisms;
  • Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory initiatives related to climate, energy and sustainability;
  • Represent the company in technical forums, working groups and events on related topics;
  • Prepare technical notes, institutional positions, reports and technical inputs;
  • Work collaboratively with internal areas such as operations, planning and communications;
  • Monitor trends, public policies and international commitments related to the climate agenda.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field;
  • Experience in sustainability;
  • Technical knowledge of sustainability, climate change, emissions reduction and the energy transition;
  • Experience with environmental and energy public policy, including engagement with government bodies and industry associations;
  • Ability to build institutional relationships, negotiate and represent the company in technical and regulatory forums;
  • Prior experience with Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) or energy transition in the transport sector is desirable;
  • Advanced English.
