About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Consolidate and report CAPEX with views by directorate, business unit (BU), project and investment type (maintenance, growth, regulatory, digital);
Develop investment monitoring dashboards (Actual vs Budget vs Forecast) with drill-down by project;
Evaluate and review business cases for new projects, ensuring methodological consistency and realistic assumptions;
Monitor the full investment cycle: intention flow, feasibility study, communication, approval pipeline, execution and value capture;
Model projects' economic returns (NPV, IRR, Payback) and support prioritization and capital allocation decisions;
Ensure visibility of cash and accrual impacts (accrual vs cash basis), especially in the short term;
Lead recurring forums with business areas to monitor and prioritize investments, reporting to senior leadership;
Ensure compliance with the investment policy and corporate governance.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or related fields;
Experience in CAPEX, financial planning or related areas;
Experience in budget management;
Experience acting as a strategic business partner (Business Partner);
Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, Power Query, pivot tables);
BI and dashboard tools: Power BI, Tableau or similar;
Knowledge of ERP systems: SAP (CO/FI modules), SAC Planning, OneStream or similar;
Strong understanding of management accounting principles;
Familiarity with airline industry KPIs: CASK, RASK, ASK, RPK, Block Hours (BH), OTP, Load Factor (desirable);
Previous experience in the airline, transportation or logistics sectors (a plus);
Advanced spoken English;
Spanish at intermediate or advanced level is desirable.
