About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor and analyze operational costs (fuel, crew, maintenance, airport fees) with a granular breakdown by product, fleet/equipment, route and operation;
  • Translate operational KPIs (Block Hours, OTP, utilization, ASK, RPK, Load Factor, etc.) into financial impact (CASK, margin, EBITDA);
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards with drill-down capability, ensuring transparency and traceability of cost and performance drivers;
  • Continuously monitor operational and financial KPIs, producing variance analyses (Actuals vs Budget vs Forecast);
  • Maintain constant interface with operational teams through recurring follow-up forums (weekly/monthly business reviews);
  • Support strategic fleet and network decisions with sensitivity analyses (fuel, exchange rates, productivity);
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities associated with operations and propose action plans.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or related fields;
  • Experience in Controllership, FP&A, Business Control, Financial Planning or related areas;
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting results and performing variance analysis (Actuals vs Budget vs Forecast);
  • Experience acting as a strategic business partner to operational areas (Business Partner);
  • Advanced Excel (financial modeling, Power Query, pivot tables);
  • BI and dashboard tools: Power BI, Tableau or similar;
  • Knowledge of ERP systems: SAP (CO/FI modules), SAC Planning, OneStream or similar;
  • Solid understanding of managerial accounting principles;
  • Familiarity with airline KPIs: CASK, RASK, ASK, RPK, Block Hours (BH), OTP, Load Factor (preferred);
  • Previous experience in the airline, transportation or logistics sectors (a plus);
  • Advanced conversational English;
  • Spanish at an intermediate or advanced level is desirable.
