About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Control SG&A (Legal, IT, Services, Commercial and back-office areas) with breakdown by area, expense nature, Business Unit (BU) and type of spend;
  • Develop analytical dashboards for expenses and productivity with views by product, channel and results (not just isolated cost or revenue);
  • Lead budget cycles and forecast reviews, coordinating interactions with corporate functions;
  • Design, review and maintain allocation and cost-sharing criteria to allocate corporate costs to Business Units;
  • Track and report corporate efficiency KPIs (cost per FTE, cost as % of revenue, cost by BU);
  • Ensure continuous engagement with business areas through recurring follow-up meetings and business reviews;
  • Identify structural expense optimization opportunities and propose action plans with measurable impact;

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or related field;
  • Experience in Controllership, FP&A, Business Control, Financial Planning or similar areas;
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting and variance analysis (Actuals vs Budget vs Forecast);
  • Experience acting as a strategic business partner (Business Partnering);
  • Advanced Excel (financial modeling, Power Query, pivot tables);
  • BI and dashboard tools: Power BI, Tableau or similar;
  • Knowledge of ERP systems: SAP (CO/FI modules), SAC Planning, OneStream or similar;
  • Strong understanding of management accounting principles;
  • Familiarity with airline KPIs: CASK, RASK, ASK, RPK, Block Hours (BH), OTP, Load Factor (desirable);
  • Previous experience in the airline, transportation or logistics sectors (a plus);
  • Advanced spoken English;
  • Intermediate to advanced Spanish is desirable.
