About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to the consolidation of branch financial statements into the head office through execution of the monthly accounting close process;
Ensure that entries are recorded within the correct accounting period by analyzing and tracking documents and preparing monthly provisions;
Facilitate cross-functional coordination to resolve inconsistencies by interfacing with teams and maintaining and improving system configurations;
Support national and international internal and external audits by monitoring and clarifying audited processes and providing evidence of the effectiveness of HR, accounting, and financial controls and processes;
Leases in local and foreign currency (IFRS 16 standard);
Schedules to support explanatory notes;
Variance analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent);
Experience with the activities listed above;
Active CRC registration (Brazilian professional accounting license);
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills;
Knowledge of leases in local and foreign currency (IFRS 16);
English and Spanish - Intermediate to Advanced.
