About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze company routines and, through in-depth studies, identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes.
  • Create controls and KPIs for the department's key procedures.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains in long-term maintenance planning processes, proposing changes to the maintenance structure.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the company's long-term maintenance planning.
  • Perform heavy maintenance scheduling, including medium- and long-term projects (5-year plan).
  • Execute monthly close-out of maintenance scenarios.
  • Run scenario simulations related to budget cycles.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards to present the area's KPIs.
  • Contribute to the development of planning processes through analysis together with the responsible team members.
  • Contribute to the medium- and long-term strategic plan by balancing demand with maintenance capacity, identifying opportunities to improve scheduling, increasing slot efficiency, and anticipating technical and operational risks.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or Business/Administration.
  • Previous experience in the field.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar).
  • Analytical skills and systems thinking.
  • Knowledge of process improvement concepts.
  • Knowledge of operational risk assessment and technical/financial impact analysis to support decision-making.
  • Intermediate English (writing, reading, and speaking).
  • Experience with financial control.
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance planning and control (line and heavy maintenance).
  • Knowledge of the AMOS maintenance management system.
  • Intermediate Spanish.
