About the role
- Plan, execute and control aeronautical procurement processes for maintenance materials (consumables and rotables), meeting fleet operational demands with a special focus on widebody aircraft and long-haul operations;
- Manage purchase orders and contracts with aeronautical suppliers, ensuring technical, regulatory, fiscal and contractual compliance;
- Conduct commercial negotiations with OEMs, distributors, brokers, MROs and pooling programs, seeking cost reductions, improved lead times and commercial terms;
- Work to reduce repair TAT and material lead times, including critical scenarios (AOG);
- Oversee the end-to-end purchasing flow, from requisition to delivery and aircraft release, resolving documentary and operational discrepancies definitively;
- Support the structuring and stocking of strategic inventory of components and consumables, ensuring availability for long-range aircraft operations;
- Identify opportunities for optimization, automation and continuous improvement in the area’s processes;
- Develop and monitor supply chain performance indicators and report operational risks;
- Control requisitions and purchase orders, ensuring the best total cost and service lead time for aeronautical materials;
- Analyze quotations, perform technical and commercial equalization and approve purchases according to authorization levels;
- Support the team in day-to-day activities, acting as the technical reference in aeronautical procurement;
- Evaluate supplier performance and contract adherence;
- Keep SAP and AMOS systems updated with process information;
- Continuously pursue cost reduction and operational efficiency in the aeronautical supply chain.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics or related fields;
- Solid experience in Aeronautical Procurement / Maintenance Supplies (consumables and rotables);
- Experience negotiating with aeronautical suppliers, OEMs, distributors or MROs;
- Knowledge of aviation regulatory processes and technical documentation (8130, EASA Form 1, etc.);
- Advanced English;
- Experience with SAP and AMOS.
