About the role

  • Support the process of receiving and returning engines for aircraft and spare engines in the fleet
  • Prepare and analyze technical documentation for engines being received and returned
  • Prepare status reports for AD (Airworthiness Directives), SB (Service Bulletins), LLP (Life-Limited Parts), OCCM (On-Condition Parts), LDND (Last Done / Next Due) and other items to support engines being received and returned
  • Participate in physical inspections and maintenance actions for engines being received and returned
  • Interact with partner areas (Planning, Maintenance, Procurement, Engine Shop, Commercial and related teams) to ensure smooth engine receipt and return processes
  • Analyze leasing contracts and participate in technical discussions with lessors
  • Communicate with lessors regarding engine movements
  • Interact with consulting firms, service providers and engine maintenance shops
  • Participate in the preparation of technical and financial analyses for engines undergoing maintenance and for strategic projects within the area
  • Participate in engine maintenance governance
  • Participate in the review of contracts that involve engines being received and returned
  • Respond to technical requests from aircraft and engine lessors for engines in operation or already returned
  • Update data in systems and tools
  • Respond to internal and external audits
  • Support the area with aircraft and engine data for studies
  • Compile status reports for engine receipt and return projects
  • Monitor and follow up on delays in deliveries of new engines
  • Support lessor inspections of aircraft and engines conducted periodically during the lease period
  • Prepare agendas and minutes for recurring or ad hoc meetings
  • Perform administrative tasks for the area
  • Develop and improve tools, processes and procedures
  • Book flights and hotel accommodations for third parties
  • Identify and report hazards in operations
  • Manage safety risks and threats in accordance with acceptable levels
  • Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with the conditions and limitations of certificates issued by authorities and in compliance with company regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Education: Engineering, Aeronautical Sciences or related fields
  • Portuguese – Advanced (C1)
  • English – Advanced (C1)
