About the role
- Support the process of receiving and returning engines for aircraft and spare engines in the fleet
- Prepare and analyze technical documentation for engines being received and returned
- Prepare status reports for AD (Airworthiness Directives), SB (Service Bulletins), LLP (Life-Limited Parts), OCCM (On-Condition Parts), LDND (Last Done / Next Due) and other items to support engines being received and returned
- Participate in physical inspections and maintenance actions for engines being received and returned
- Interact with partner areas (Planning, Maintenance, Procurement, Engine Shop, Commercial and related teams) to ensure smooth engine receipt and return processes
- Analyze leasing contracts and participate in technical discussions with lessors
- Communicate with lessors regarding engine movements
- Interact with consulting firms, service providers and engine maintenance shops
- Participate in the preparation of technical and financial analyses for engines undergoing maintenance and for strategic projects within the area
- Participate in engine maintenance governance
- Participate in the review of contracts that involve engines being received and returned
- Respond to technical requests from aircraft and engine lessors for engines in operation or already returned
- Update data in systems and tools
- Respond to internal and external audits
- Support the area with aircraft and engine data for studies
- Compile status reports for engine receipt and return projects
- Monitor and follow up on delays in deliveries of new engines
- Support lessor inspections of aircraft and engines conducted periodically during the lease period
- Prepare agendas and minutes for recurring or ad hoc meetings
- Perform administrative tasks for the area
- Develop and improve tools, processes and procedures
- Book flights and hotel accommodations for third parties
- Identify and report hazards in operations
- Manage safety risks and threats in accordance with acceptable levels
- Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with the conditions and limitations of certificates issued by authorities and in compliance with company regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Education: Engineering, Aeronautical Sciences or related fields
- Portuguese – Advanced (C1)
- English – Advanced (C1)
