About the role

  • Supervise and coordinate the invoicing process for temporary staffing clients, ensuring invoice accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Implement and monitor performance indicators related to billing timeliness and quality.
  • Optimize Sales Administration (ADV) processes (digitalization, automation, IT system interfaces).
  • Act as the interface between operations, sales and accounting teams to resolve billing disputes.
  • Manage accounts receivable and ensure adherence to payment deadlines.
  • Implement and monitor client credit policies (exposure, risk, collateral).
  • Organize and oversee customer collections (preventive and corrective), in coordination with the commercial teams.
  • Analyze customer credit risk and propose mitigation measures (credit insurance, legal actions).
  • Produce regular reporting on the aged receivables, disputes and outstanding balances.
  • Lead and develop the billing and collections team.
  • Define and formalize internal procedures (controls, compliance, audits).
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects related to integration into the Japanese group (process harmonization, SOX compliance).
  • Work closely with Payroll, Financial Management, Accounting and operational teams.
  • Serve as the primary client contact for billing and payment matters.
  • Liaise with internal/external auditors and external providers (credit insurers, collection agencies).

Requirements

  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in Management, Finance or equivalent.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5–7 years) in billing, Sales Administration (ADV) and/or credit management, ideally in a high-volume environment (temporary staffing, services, B2B).
  • Strong proficiency with IT tools and ERP systems (ideally group finance & billing tools).
  • Demonstrated team management experience and change management skills.
  • Professional-level English (communication with the parent company in Japan and interactions with the US).
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with various teams, and leadership to engage teams in continuous improvement initiatives.
